Woodworker’s Fallen Farm Trees Star in ‘Made in Illinois’ Video

Custom woodworker David Stine of Dow, IL, is featured in the inaugural “Made in Illinois,” a series of videos produced by the Illinois Office of Tourism that features people and placed that create, craft and invent in Illinois.
Stine specializes in using “dead” trees from his family’s southern Illinois farm to mill into lumber and made into furniture using handcrafted traditional methods of joinery and construction.
Stine’s client list includes actor Michael J. Fox, broadcast journalist Forrest Sawyer and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Wow, what else can I say but “WOW”. You can feel the pride in the woodworking done by David Stine in this well done video production. It’s fabulous that’s they proudly put “Illinois Made” on their products. Thanks to David Stine and the Illinois Office of Tourism on this successful collaboration and I hope many people see it. I know that David Stine’s work is going to appear in Chicago, at the “One of A Kind” show starting December 1st. That draws people from all over.
